Hi all, my name is Ali Brown and I have been a woodworker for over 10 years. And I created this blog to share with readers useful and relevant information about woodworking.

Woodworking is the process of making decorative and useful objects out of wood, such as chafes, tables, tools, bowls and so on. It covers such techniques as wood carving, carpentry and precision work. It is relatively easy to learn the basic skills of woodworking, and with each project you gain new knowledge.

The choice of quality equipment for the processing and production of various wooden products, as well as for processing of recycled wood material is one of the main tasks of the timber industry. Given that even the ways to process wood there are many – it can be hewn, planed, sawn, cut, sanded, scraped and so on, each of them requires its own set of specialized tools and equipment.

Machines used in the woodworking and billeting process are of several types – universal or combined multi-operated machines, semi-automatic equipment, unit and combine machines, fully automatic lines, etc. The latter type of equipment, as a rule, finds its application in large factories and enterprises, the models of universal or combined machines having more compact dimensions can be used even at home.
